Description

HawkEye 360 is currently seeking a Program Manager to join the Mission Management team. The Mission Management team is responsible for the successful completion of customer missions and provides program management support across the entire company. The Program Manager will be responsible for executing major revenue-bearing contracts in support of the company’s international customers, and will interface with technical and business leads across the company.

HawkEye 360 is looking for a candidate with proven critical thinking skills, intellectual curiosity, keen attention to detail, and an execution-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills (clear, concise, quick, and-well organized) and be comfortable briefing complex material to senior audiences both in-person and virtually. The candidate will have a strong track record of both quantitative and qualitative analysis for monitoring and controlling assigned projects.

As the Program Manager - International, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Lead one or more of the company’s international missions from pre-sales activities through contract completion and final program deliverables, ensuring successful execution to technical and schedule requirements as well as full recognition of available revenue
  • This includes:
    • Working with the operations team to schedule required collections/deliveries to meet the customer’s mission needs, and work with mission support team to produce analytical reports as needed
    • Establish data delivery paths that meet legal, export, security, expediency, and other customer requirements
    • Monitor high-priority collection results and work resolutions as needed as quickly as possible
    • Track progress towards satisfying technical, schedule, and revenue requirements; identify risks/issues to successful completion and recommend possible mitigations
  • Serve as the face to the customer, providing quality customer support and proactive conflict resolution in a professional and constructive manner, including with various international cultures
  • Drive internal development efforts from engineering, product, and sales teams, as well as other functional groups throughout the company (such as finance, legal, and regulatory) as needed to identify, resource, complete, and deliver the program’s scope of work
  • Advocate for the necessary resources and balance workloads with other company programs and priorities
  • Identify risks to mission success, mitigate, and proactively communicate with company leadership and other stakeholders
  • Support pre-sales activities in creating viable (sometimes custom) technical solutions to satisfy customer requirements
  • Travel to customer sites, sometimes internationally, for in-person meetings as needed for effective relationship building
Your skills and qualifications:
Education and experience:
  • 6+ years professional systems engineering and/or program management experience
  • B.S. in engineering, business, social science, or other related field
  • Particularly strong work experience may be deemed equivalent for candidates with alternative degrees
Essential:
  • Demonstrated effective management of requirements and deliverables for complex engineering projects
  • Demonstrated success in leading or supporting multidisciplinary project teams executing to a set time and budget
  • Basic understanding of intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) operations
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills for successful monitoring and controlling of assigned programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in professional and customer service settings
Desirable:​​​​​​
  • Master’s degree in a technical, business, policy, management, or other related field
  • CAPM or PMP certification
  • Experience in the intelligence and/or defense-related communities; experience in multi-INT analysis or operations utilizing customer databases, platforms, and applications
  • Experience working with international customers
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Solutions (S3)
Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
