HawkEye 360 is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join our Product team. 

Location: This position is hybrid, with part-time work-from-home flexibility.

As the Senior Test Engineer, your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct testing on both new and legacy applications or new features that have not yet been automated, with or without the use of formal test cases/scripts.
• Review and understand testing requirements, process workflow, and report test results in JIRA defect management tool.
• Analyze and dissect system requirements and technical specifications to create and maintain comprehensive end-to-end test plans and test cases; responsible for executing the plan and ensuring that all the objectives are met, and that the solution works as expected
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track defects, and help implement process improvements to minimize defects
• Assist the development team in debugging and replicating issues. Act as the primary contact for testing activities and responsibilities for the development team.
• Manage changing priorities.
• Research, Design, and Implement automation framework for automated testing using tools like Selenium.

Your skills and qualifications:
Essential experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software application testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools like Jira, ALM, Selenium, Linux and Database.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment utilizing Java or Python
• Experience in at least one common development language (Java, C/C++, .Net, Python)
• Experience in at least one test automation framework (Selenium, Robot Framework)
• Experience in load testing tools (JMeter, Postman)
• Experience in using GitLab.
• Hands on experience working on large-scale data science/data analytics projects
