Description

HawkEye 360 is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Business Development to grow our satellite missions and dedicated capacity business with selected number of international governments and partners. In this position you will drive the definition of the offering, the business model and working with the sales leads the customer strategy, with a focus on bespoke satellite mission solutions, dedicated capacity, payload integration, and advanced RF analytics delivery.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, deep understanding of government acquisition processes, and a well-established international network within government and industry. You will help to position HawkEye 360 for long-term program wins while working alongside Capture, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to align offerings with mission requirements.

Travel: Approximately 30% domestic and international travel required.

As the Senior Director, Strategic International Business Development, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Lead business development for custom satellite missions, dedicated capacity offering and RF data-as-a-service in the international market.
  • Identify, shape, and capture short-term and long-term strategic opportunities, serving as a key interface with target customers and partners.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of RF-focused satellite and dedicated capacity opportunities, including greenfield pursuits and partnerships.
  • Guide capture strategy and proposal development; coordinate technical discussion with customers and partner
  • Represent HawkEye 360 in client meetings, industry forums, and government engagements.
  • Provide market and customer insights to inform strategic planning and product development.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to shape the offering, ensure alignment on value propositions, and support go-to-market strategies.
  • Support compliance activities such as export control and licensing for satellite missions.
  • Track opportunity status and reporting within our CRM system and contribute to revenue forecasting and performance metrics.
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential education and experience:
  • 15+ years in business development or capture management in space, defense, or aerospace sectors.
  • Expertise in space-based systems, ideally including RF sensing, remote sensing, or SIGINT/ELINT.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition authorities, proposal processes, and contract vehicles.
  • Proven record of winning and managing long-cycle government contracts.
  • Experience interfacing with defense and intelligence organizations globally is a requirement for this position.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to build rapport at all levels.
  • Highly self-driven with a demonstrated ability to work independently and across dispersed teams.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and scaling new business areas.
Desirable:​​​​​​
  • Active Top Secret/SCI or possibility to obtain it.
  • Knowledge of Government procurement vehicles, experience in FMS and FMF processes.
  • Background in RF signal processing, geospatial intelligence, or satellite mission design is a plus.
Base Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000 annually

HawkEye 360 offers a compensation package that includes a competitive base salary plus annual performance bonus and benefits. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as candidate's work experience, education, training & skills, as well as market and business considerations. We are also open to considering candidates with experience and qualifications at a different level than required in a job posting, which may affect the compensation package offered.
